Nepal is a country of great Himalayas including world’s highest mountain Mount Everest, World’s third Highest Kanchengunja and many other peaks such as Lotse (fourth highest), Makalu (fifth highest) Annapurna, Machapuchhre, etc.

Brazil is the world’s top country for fresh water resources and Nepal ranks second. There are more than 3000 big rivers in Nepal. Rivers in Nepal originate in the Himalayas and mountains and run southward, towards India, and ends in the sea in the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh. Rivers are one of the major tourist attractions in Nepal because of the possibilities of White Water rafting and kayaking. Since the major rivers in the country originate in the mighty Himalayas, these rivers have strong current.
