2020 US Presidential Election Who Will Win The Race
The 2016 Presidential Election Campaign resulted in the election of Donald J. Trump as POTUS. I accepted the election results as any dutiful patriot would do and steeled my mind in order to endure the next 4 years.
I was born in the USA and have lived through Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr. and Obama. How I see it, there has yet to a president elected who could destroy our country in such a short period of time. Even if the president gets reelected and serves two terms, which is a total of 8 years, America will still be standing when they finally leave and go home.
It’s not just an opinion. I truly believe: We don’t need to make American great … again! America is already great. But there is a lot of fixing that needs to be done because a lot of “things” are broken! If those things don’t get fixed during one president’s administration, which might last 4 or 8 years, then … Eh! Maybe the next POTUS will fix them.
Time to Elect Another POTUS
It’s been two and a half years and … WHOA! Where has the time gone? It’s hunting season in America … again! The citizens are hunting for a new fearless leader to represent the USA on the world stage and take care of business on the homefront. The 2020 US Presidential Election Campaign is underway and there are about 20 ordinary US citizens trying to convince the rest of the US citizens that they can fix what’s broke! On November 3, 2020, the elections will take place.
How does one decide?
There is no one golden rule or a specific set of guidelines, written or unwritten, for people to follow when choosing who to vote for. But all voters KNOW (or should know) that neither a foreign power nor an enemy from within should be “helping” US make the decision.
Most people will listen closely and carefully to the candidate’s statements of fact and their promises for the future and then decide to vote for the one they believe and hope will make living in America great for them.
After the debate which was held on July 30, 2019, and July 31, 2019, in Detroit, Michigan, CNN.com published its ranking of the Top 10 Democratic candidates (out of 21) who have the best chances of being the one nominated to run against our current POTUS. Three of the ten are women.
As I mentioned earlier, I have lived in America through 11 presidents. They were all men. I am currently living in America through the 12th president who is also male. An intelligent voter would never base their decision on the gender of the candidate. But it would be a refreshing change to have a lady POTUS representing US on the world stage. India, Israel, Germany, Britain, and other countries have had female leaders. I just think it’s about time America had a woman president.
Of course, it’s a totally subjective opinion. But am I wrong?
We have Lady Liberty and Lady Justice.
Why not have a Madam President?
